The chandelier of what size to choose over the dining table?
There are 3 basic rules for choosing a chandelier over the dining table:
1. It should be low enough to create a cozy atmosphere, but not disturb anyone.
2. The main rule - hang it from 90 to 110 cm above the table.
3. The chandelier or certain parts of it shouldn't be wider than the table.
For a rectangular table, the length of the chandelier should ideally be half to two-thirds of the length of your table to create a good balance of proportions.
For a round dining table, choose a round or square lamp with a width of 1/2 to 2/3 of the width of the table. If you choose a large lamp for a round table, it will visually make the table smaller. For a square table, the principle of choosing a chandelier is the same as for a round table.
Now you know how to choose the chandelier of a perfect size for a table in the kitchen or dining room.
